By simply saving the box tops for education “coupons”, we could earn our school $20,000 each year!  We have an opportunity to earn money for our school without selling anything, without asking for pledges, or even pinching pennies.  There are hundreds of products that have a box top for education.  You probably have some in your cupboard, freezer, or closet right now!  Each box top is worth 10 cents.  So for every 10 box tops, the school would receive $1.00.  If every student were to collect 10, the school would receive about $400.  Just imagine how much money the school would get if we asked family, friends, and coworkers to save them for us as well.  When the whole community pulls together, rips off the box tops coupons, and sends them to the school…. We just may earn enough money to take more fieldtrips, or offer more aggie clubhouses, or purchase playground equipment, or make building improvements, or…… the list is endless! 

Please check all your boxes for a Box Top for Education label. As you use them, rip and save!!!  I keep a container in my kitchen towel drawer that we collect our box tops.  When it is full, I send them in to school in a Ziploc baggie.  You don’t even have to trim them – we have volunteers that will trim and package them for redemption.  We earned $929 last year.  I’m positive we could earn at least $2,000 this year if everyone helps!! 

There is an additional program through box tops that could earn another $20,000 for our school.  Stores in the Box Tops Marketplace will donate money to our school for purchases made online through the links on their website.  Stores such as Target, Walmart.com , Oriental Trading Company, Home Depot and many more are participating.  You simply need to register at Boxtops4education.com, link to the stores website, and make your purchases.  You are not able to go directly to the individual stores and make purchases and still have the money go to our school.  You must be registered and link to them through the box tops for education website.
